pi-persona

Custom modes for pi.

Install

# from npm (once published)
pi install npm:pi-persona

# from a local checkout
pi install ./path/to/pi-persona

Modes

Debugger mode

Read-only root-cause analysis. Pi analyzes code for a given problem and explains the root cause — it never edits or writes any file while the mode is on.

  • Toggle: /debugger or Ctrl+Shift+.
  • Status: 🔍 debug in the footer while active
  • edit/write are removed from the tool set; bash is restricted to read-only commands (git log, grep, running tests, …)
  • State persists across session resume

Typical use:

/debugger
the login endpoint returns 500 when the password contains unicode — find out why
