omp packages

About omp packages

omp packages is a catalog of plugins for oh-my-pi (omp), a coding agent forked from Pi. It also tracks which Pi packages work on omp.

Why it exists

omp can install Pi packages, but many of them break on omp because the two agents have drifted apart. Before this site, the only way to find out was to install a package and try it. The catalog collects those results so the next person does not have to.

Where the data comes from

A scheduled job reads the npm registry every 30 minutes. It lists packages with the keywords omp-package, omp-plugin, omp-extension, oh-my-pi, pi-package. Package pages also fetch the README, license, and dependencies from npm when you open them. Packages that exist only on GitHub are not listed.

How a status is decided

If more people report a package as broken than as working, it shows as Broken on omp. Otherwise, a package with an omp keyword shows as Built for omp. A package with at least one working report shows as Works on omp. Everything else is Untested on omp. Anyone can send one report per package, and a new report replaces their old one.
