pi-apinex-provider

APInex free-tier provider for oh-my-pi. Registers apinex as a model provider and hooks it into omp's native /login API-key flow.

APInex is an OpenAI-compatible gateway at https://api.apinex.bond/v1. Free models draw from a daily allowance and never touch the token wallet.

Install

omp plugin install npm:pi-apinex-provider

Restart omp, then sign in:

/login apinex

omp opens https://apinex.bond, asks for an API key (sk-apx…), validates it against /v1/models, and stores it in omp's credential store. No environment variable or key file is involved.

Only models with APInex's allowFree: true flag are registered:

Notes

  • Cloudflare: api.apinex.bond challenges generic non-browser clients. The extension sends src: apinexcli — the header APInex's official CLI uses — on every request so omp reaches the JSON API instead of the challenge page.
  • Reasoning: DeepSeek, Gemini, and GPT models expose omp's low/medium/high thinking levels. GLM models reason unconditionally (reasoning_content), so no reasoning_effort is sent for them.
  • Free allowance: APInex rate-limits and meters free models by weight; a subscription or paid balance is not required for the models listed above.
  • Provider only: this package registers nothing outside the apinex provider.
