What it does

Press Ctrl+X to open a floating command palette. Each entry is bound to a single letter; press the letter directly, or use arrow keys + Enter. Escape or Backspace closes the palette.

All commands run as native OMP actions — no patching, no subprocess tricks.

Installation

omp plugin install Sanveed/omp-leader-key

Or install directly from npm:

omp plugin install omp-leader-key

Why?

OMP's built-in autoresearch extension also registers Ctrl+X, so a normal registerShortcut("ctrl+x", ...) collides with it. This extension uses OMP's native ctx.ui.onTerminalInput() listener instead, avoiding the shortcut conflict while preserving the exact Ctrl+X → key behavior.
