omp-command-palette

Searchable command palette for Oh My Pi. Open it while the editor still has draft text.

Inspired by the Pi community palettes (pi-command-palette, @d3ara1n/pi-command-palette), written against OMP's extension API instead of forked from them.

Install

From this checkout:

omp plugin link /Users/dan/code/agents/omp-command-palette

Or load once:

omp --extension /Users/dan/code/agents/omp-command-palette

Then /reload-plugins or restart the session.

Usage

Type to filter. Enter selects. Esc closes, or goes back from a submenu.

Ctrl+P and Ctrl+Shift+P stay with OMP's model cycle. This package will not steal them.

What it can do

Runs immediately

• Switch model (current model starred)
• Set thinking level
• Compact
• Toggle a tool on or off
• Copy / clear / restore editor text
• New session and reload, when opened via /palette

Fills the editor (press Enter to run the built-in)

• Settings, marketplace, plugins, hotkeys, extensions, agent hub
• Plan mode, session tree, fork, resume, MCP, setup, collab, advisor, debug
• Every extension command, skill command, and prompt template from pi.getCommands()

Draft text is saved before a fill or clear. Restore Editor Text appears at the top until you use it.

Priority: OMP_COMMAND_PALETTE_KEY → project file → user file → ctrl+shift+k.

Set enabled to false to keep /palette and drop the chord. Reserved OMP shortcuts (ctrl+p, ctrl+shift+p, …) are ignored.

The overlay uses OMP's public SelectList filter and ctx.ui.custom({ overlay: true, overlayOptions }). It does not poke private TUI fields.
