omp-bark-notify

OMP plugin: push notifications to iPhone (Bark) and desktop (Win/Mac) when the assistant pauses for user input.

Smart desktop: suppresses desktop toasts when a terminal window is foreground (you're watching OMP). Only Bark fires in that case.

Triggers

Event	Meaning
`agent_end`	Assistant finished a turn
`tool_call: ask`	Assistant needs confirmation / input
`session_stop`	Session paused, waiting for user

5-second throttle between notifications.

Install

omp plugin install omp-bark-notify

Configuration

In ~/.omp/agent/.env:

Find the device key on the Bark app home screen.

Behavior

Channel	Condition
Bark (iPhone)	Always (when key is set)
Windows toast	Only when terminal is NOT foreground
macOS notification	Only when terminal is NOT frontmost

Desktop notifications detect whether a known terminal process owns the foreground window and skip the toast when you're watching OMP directly. Switch to another window and they resume.

Failures are silent — a down Bark server or missing desktop API won't affect OMP.
