Catppuccin for Pi
Soothing pastel themes for the Pi coding agent, ported from Catppuccin for VS Code.
Four flavors, matching the Catppuccin palette:
| Flavor | Theme name | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Latte | catppuccin-latte |
Light |
| Frappé | catppuccin-frappe |
Dark |
| Macchiato | catppuccin-macchiato |
Dark |
| Mocha | catppuccin-mocha |
Dark |
Install
pi install npm:catppuccin-pi-theme
Enable
Either in /settings, or in settings.json:
{
"theme": "catppuccin-mocha"
}
To follow your terminal's light/dark appearance automatically:
{
"lightTheme": "catppuccin-latte",
"darkTheme": "catppuccin-mocha"
}
Or for a one-off run:
pi --use-theme catppuccin-mocha
pi --use-theme catppuccin-latte/catppuccin-mocha
Terminal background
Pi renders 24-bit RGB and does not set the terminal's own background, so for the full Catppuccin look, set your terminal profile to the matching flavor:
| Flavor | Background (base) |
Foreground (text) |
|---|---|---|
| Latte | #eff1f5 |
#4c4f69 |
| Frappé | #303446 |
#c6d0f5 |
| Macchiato | #24273a |
#cad3f5 |
| Mocha | #1e1e2e |
#cdd6f4 |
In VS Code, set terminal.integrated.minimumContrastRatio to 1 for accurate colors.
