@siuver/omp-message-time
An oh-my-pi extension that displays the local system time beneath every user message.
Install
omp plugin install @siuver/omp-message-time
Behavior
- When a timestamp appears: a dim
🕐 YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SSline is rendered directly beneath the user's message whenever a genuine user prompt starts an agent turn. Slash commands, bash (!/!!), Python ($/$$), todo reminders, queued continuations, and agent-initiated turns do not trigger a timestamp. - Persistent display: once injected, the timestamp entry stays visible in the transcript for the whole session (it is a display-only custom message).
- Filtered from LLM context: the timestamp annotation is stripped from every LLM request, so it never reaches the model and never consumes context tokens.
The displayed time is captured when the agent turn begins and comes from the injected entry's own timestamp.
