ARC Pi
ARC Pi is a thin, opinionated Pi distribution built around arc-orchestrator. It keeps upstream Pi as the interactive parent and adds an isolated profile, sensible model defaults, and bounded delegation of work to ARC workers.
Install
Requires Node.js 22.19+, Bun 1.2+, Pi 0.80+, and the CLIs for any worker backends you use.
npm install --global @andysolomon/arc-pi@latest
arc-pi
Run /login once inside ARC Pi. The first launch creates the isolated ~/.arc-pi profile; the tested ARC runner is installed with the package. Re-run the install command to update.
Usage
Inside ARC Pi:
| Command | Purpose |
|---|---|
/arc-doctor |
Check the install and runner |
/arc-runs, /arc-report |
List delegated runs and their results |
/arc-monitor |
Live session status |
/arc-usage |
Tokens, cost, and cache hits per task |
/arc-terminals |
Manage background terminals |
/subagents |
View and steer parallel subagents |
/arc-login <cursor|claude-code> |
Authenticate optional worker CLIs |
From a shell:
arc-pi monitor status --session-id <id>
arc-pi monitor usage --session-id <id> # per-task tokens and cost
arc-pi monitor tui --follow # live delegation viewer (see docs)
Optional flags ARC_PI_PROMPT_PROFILE=compact and ARC_PI_TOOL_OFFLOAD=1 shrink the static prompt ARC Pi sends each turn; see prompt profiles.
