pi-superpower-subagent-reporting

Pi package for reliable Superpowers subagent handoffs.

What it provides

  • A child-side Pi extension that detects PI_SUBAGENT_SESSION.
  • Captures the final assistant report on agent_end.
  • Writes the completion sidecar and shuts down the child on idle.
  • A Pi-specific reporting skill that tells subagents to return a concise handoff and use the runtime-supported termination mechanism.

The parent Pi session is left untouched.

Install

pi install npm:pi-superpower-subagent-reporting

Restart Pi after installation. To test the package without installing it permanently:

pi -e /path/to/pi-superpower-subagent-reporting

Completion format

The hook writes <PI_SUBAGENT_SESSION>.exit with a marker like:

{"type":"done","report":"Completed: ..."}

If no textual assistant report is available, it writes { "type": "done" }.
