pi-cache-countdown

Pi extension that shows a prompt-cache expiry countdown (⏱ 4:32) in the footer status line.

Install

pi install npm:pi-cache-countdown
# or
pi install git:github.com/eciton/pi-cache-countdown

Behavior

  • Counts down from the timestamp of the latest assistant response.
  • Shows expired when the TTL has passed; hidden if the response had no cache read/write.
  • TTL is 5 minutes, or 1 hour when PI_CACHE_RETENTION=long. The real TTL depends on your provider; edit TTL_MS if it differs.
