Favorites

Favorites are stored globally in ~/.pi/:

  • ~/.pi/openrouter-favorites.json
  • ~/.pi/opencode-zen-favorites.json
  • ~/.pi/opencode-go-favorites.json

Favorites survive across all pi sessions and reboots. A yellow ★ appears next to favorited models in the list.

Sorting

Press Alt+p to cycle through sort modes:

OpenRouter

  • newest — recently released models first (default)
  • cheapest in — lowest input price first
  • cheapest out — lowest output price first

Zen

  • name — alphabetical by model name (default)
  • cheapest in — lowest input price first
  • cheapest out — lowest output price first

Go

  • name — alphabetical by model name (default)
  • most 5h — highest estimated 5-hour request count first
  • most month — highest estimated monthly request count first

Caching

Both extensions cache fetched data in-memory for 1 day to avoid hammering the APIs during repeated use. Data is re-fetched automatically when the cache expires.

Requirements

  • pi (the terminal AI agent)
  • Internet connection (for fetching live model data)

No API keys are required for either data source.
