pi-prompt-hud

Persistent HUD above the editor showing the most recent user prompts of the current session. Works with pi and oh-my-pi.

Install

Link or copy into extensions dir, or run with pi -e /path/to/extensions/prompt-hud.ts. As a package, add to ~/.pi/agent/settings.json (or omp config) extensions.

Config

Display count (default 1), priority order:

  1. /prompt-hud <n> — session override
  2. PROMPT_HUD_COUNT env var
  3. promptHud.count in settings.json

Commands

  • /prompt-hud <n> — show last n prompts
  • /prompt-hud status — show current count
  • /prompt-hud off — hide widget
  • /prompt-hud on / reset — restore default count
